"The PLO is the sole legitimate representative [of the Palestinian people],
and it has not changed its platform even one iota."
That's what the PLO's ambassador to Lebanon, Abbas Zaki, told Lebanon's NBN
TV in an interview that aired last Wednesday and was translated by the
Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).
"In light of the weakness of the Arab nation and the lack of values, and in
light of the American control over the world, the PLO proceeds through
phases, without changing its strategy. Let me tell you, when the ideology of
Israel collapses, and we take, at least, Jerusalem, the Israeli ideology
will collapse in its entirety, and we will begin to progress with our own
ideology, Allah willing, and drive them out of all of Palestine," added
Zaki.

"That vision thing"
Emanuel A. Winston
Like his father, George W. Bush is engaging in "That Vision Thing". Only this time George W. Bush is experimenting with the lives of Jews on the off chance that Muslim Arabs can be civilized. His "Vision" is based on absolutely no evidence or experience that Muslims can be weaned away from their blood-lust, murderous pagan religion that allows for no other.
All other religions are viewed as irreconcilable enemies. Real Peace was not ever tolerated but, only a "Hudna" or temporary truce - unless one side won a battle conclusively, usually slaughtering the men while selling the women and children into slavery.

We forgot how to fight
Alex Fishman (YNET)
In the Second Lebanon War, the Israeli government forgot to declare war. In the war of attrition vis-a-vis Gaza, the government has already forgotten how to fight.

The Diplomatic Dance with Hamas
Efraim Karsh
While the hope that Hamas could somehow be lured away from its genocidal
agenda seems to be gaining wider currency, not only is the destruction of
Israel not a bargaining chip, it is the heart of the matter...

The Myth of Palestinian Moderation
Michael Freund (JPost.com)
Even for a president prone to misusing the English language, George W. Bush
outdid himself last week.
Sitting next to Mahmoud Abbas at the White House, Bush gushed and swooned
over the visiting Palestinian leader, describing him in terms usually
reserved for heroes and saints...

This monstrous baby isn’t ours
Gilad Sharon
The Karni and Kerem Shalom Crossings are two pipelines through which Israel supplies the Gaza Strip with fuel, food, and humanitarian aid. Meanwhile, crossings such as “Nitzanei Shalom” are used by Palestinian laborers who enter Israel. Yet the Palestinians are constantly targeting the crossings and trying to kill our people – the ones who transfer to them what is so much needed for their existence...

With friends like these...
Isi Leiber (JPost.com)
Yet like a replay of the odious behavior of Haaretz editor David Landau, who told Rice that it would be his "wet dream" for the US "to rape Israel" for its own good, American "progressives" are urging their government to exert pressure on Israel for further unilateral concessions...

For all our readers who want the raw documents of Israeli history, including documents since the Oslo agreements.
While hijacked planes crashed into the Twin Towers and thousands were killed, and hundreds of thousands of American lives were destroyed within minutes, Palestinian Arabs came out in multitudes - to celebrate "this great vicotory". Take a look and decide for yourselves: are these people worthy of our support?

What does Hamas really want?
Khaled Abu Toameh, JPOST.com
Hamas has also dismissed Carter's demand to recognize Israel's right to exist. The most Carter managed to get out of Mashaal was an announcement that the movement would accept a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders, without recognizing Israel. In other words, Hamas is saying, "Give us something for now, so that we can continue fighting for the rest of Palestine in the future."

Fatah almost as Islamist as Hamas
Morton A. Klein - ZOA
A detailed article by Ido Zelkowitz in the latest edition of the Middle East Quarterly, produced by Daniel Pipes' Middle East Forum, shows that Fatah, the party co-founded by Yasser Arafat and Palestinian Authority (PA) president Mahmoud Abbas, is increasingly Islamist in it orientation and character and becoming less and less distinguishable from Hamas ...

Why can't Jews buy homes in Hebron?
David Wilder
The Jews came back home to Israel; but to what kind of an Israel? Of course growth and development are measures of success. But do we remember where we've come from? Do we take into account the triumphs upon which modern Israel was born? Do we recall the bedrock which serves as the justification for the rebirth of our people in our homeland?

Defend Yourselves!
Emanuel A. Winston
It’s long past time for the Israeli army and all the Israeli people to get back to the business of defending themselves. Delete the scum called "the Olmert Government" that floated to the surface. Because they are not part of the people and they have proven many times that they will not protect you. Those (except for some) came to the Government - not as patriots but - because they were greedy for power, privilege and money....always the money...
